Putting the FEST in EntreFEST

Lubricate the Mind
Got beer and ice cream on the brain? Us too. Mmmmmm. Participate in the pairing of suds and milk fat on our beer bingo wall! Because, why not.

Throughout EntreFEST there will be unique ways for you to connect with fellow attendees, one example being the start-up crawl! Crawl from startup to startup throughout downtown Iowa City while learning how each business began and how they’re doing today. Think Sculpt, MetaCommunications, and more. They’ll provide the beverages, you show up!

Bookworm Foodies
Expect it to get lit at EntreFEST…literature that is. Take advantage of the literary tour and food walk as it winds you and your taste buds through North America’s only UNESCO City of Literature. Iowa City is a destination for writers near and far and home to the Iowa Writers’ House. Soak up Iowa City’s literary essence and fill your belly along the way.

Shop Till You Drop
A Target store in Chicago serves wine now, so why not other retailers? During EntreFEST you can browse the racks and feel good about supporting local business, while simultaneously enjoying the camaraderie of fellow festival attendees and a glass of bubbly.

Surprise & Delight
There will be literally dozens of things to surprise (and we hope delight) you throughout EntreFEST. But if I told you all of them, it wouldn’t be a surprise now, would it?

If you’re a Type A planner, this is the time to throw caution to the wind and define your own EntreFEST experience. If you must plan, PLAN to have an open schedule, and don’t worry, there will be plenty of options. Our two crazy event planners have orchestrated EntreFEST to keep you engaged and entertained for every waking moment.
